My Experience Being On Silkygirl TVC
Today was a very interesting and super tiring day. I had to wake up at 5 am to get ready and be at the MBO cinema by 7 am. My mama was my driver for the whole day hehe. When we reached the cinema , everyone sat outside the building to have some breakfast. Then , we went into the cinema, waited and waited and waited . Finally they let us in the cinema room and sat down. So they played the 'Titanic in 3D' but obviously we had to watch it without the 3D glasses. While I was waiting and watching the movie, they were setting up the lightings and camera. I never knew how much lightings needed for a scene >.< the lights were everywhere! The funny thing was they gave us empty soda cups and a bag of popcorn which was filled half paper bag half popcorn.
I thought they were gonna start filming like around 8 or 9 am but they had to wait for the artist which was 'STACY' to get ready and it took her ages to get ready like even when the movie finished playing we were still waiting. Titanic is about 3 hours you knowww, I had to sit and watch the movie (I took a nap in between :p ) The cinema was freaking freezing! I felt like sitting in a giant freezer or something ! In case you wanna know where I'll be , I sat right at the corner , I'm not sure If I was even in the shot , I did try to make myself obvious :p Oh! and I was holding a bag of popcorn. Oh yeahh ! we weren't suppose to eat the popcorns...we did.... hahaha we just couldnt wait any longer, the popcorn tastes like chocolate in a way.

Okay so about 10 something or 11 they started filming and I think we did like 10 000 takes haha kidding but we did ALOT of frames. All I did was pretend I just came to the cinema and watch the 'commercial' on the screen which was actually showing the Titanic credits haha. OHH I almost forgot , the director is huge like his big and fluffly ! :D and funny
After the cinema scene , we left to KL for another scene at 12 pm. The place is called Benjiana Steakhouse. Me and my mama got lost in KL >.< but we managed to find the place just in time. By the time we reached the steakhouse, suddenly it was pouring rain. The rain was super heavy and then we had to wait for the rain to settle which took about 3 or 4 hours! Around 4 something one of the make up artist told me if I had brought extra clothes which I did, she asked me to get it. The rain was still heavy at that time and me and my mama had to run to the car and grab the clothes and run back to the place. In the end, they decided not to change my clothes -.- *sigh*
The make-up artist did my make up and hair, and for my clothes , she pinned my cardigan. At the set , they used the Tutti Frutti's tables and chairs. Again, lights everywhere! I sat down with 2 other girls, then they moved one of the girl to another table and Stacy sat with us. Then I thought to myself ''no wonder they did my make-up :3 '' Hmm I'm guessing my face will be pretty clear in the shot haha :p We did another 10 0000 takes . Naah I'm just kidding :p But it felt like it. After each take they had to touch up Stacy's hair -.- like literally after every take.By 5pm , we're DONE ! Never thought it would take 10 hours to film 2 scenes ! and ALOT of waiting ! So I did make a few friends, didnt take much pictures, I really wished I had a smaller camera -.- or maybe an Iphone or something but whatever it's all about the experience. Oh yessss, I got RM150 at the end of the day. The ones who sat with the artist get paid a little extra :D the rest got rm100.
There's 4 scenes, the other 2 scenes are just for the 2 artists, Stacy and a guy. Im guessing he's not so famous yet because I don't even know him. Anyways, the commercial is called 'Great Scent' ,is a new perfume by SG and SG Men. I can't wait for the commercial to be on TV ! Please let me know if you've seen it :D
