Sexy Cupcakes


How are you doing ? I'm feeling really hungry as I'm blogging and it's going to be full of food pictures >.< So last week , the 2nd day of fasting , my family and my godsister's family had dinner in an Arabian restaurant , I forgot the name of the restaurant. We break fast at that particular restaurant every year since 2009 ! But this year My godsister, Aliyah , couldnt make it :( It was sad without her !

Last week my friend saw the photos of the cinnamon rolls that I made last week and he wanted to try them so he ordered from me and some red velvet cupcakes and chocolate cupcakes ! The thing is I've never tried baking red velvet cupcakes and I've only tried once at a friend's house so I was not familiar with red velvets BUT I managed to bake them right ! :D 

Look who came to help out. It's Amanda! :)

Usually I would pipe the icing on the cupcakes really pretty but I couldn't be bothered to do it this time :p
I used to sell cupcakes in high school , I did birthday cupcakes before, ummm cupcakes for girlfriend / boyfriend and so on. Unfortunately I don't know where did I keep the pictures. I didn't own a good camera back then so the quality must be poopy so whatever :p NOW , I think I'll start my mini business back ! I got a few more orders next week ! stay tuned for that :D 





I don't know if I should open orders publicly :p But I take orders and sell them to friends and friends' friends haha if that makes sense ! Maybe someday when I have my own bakery or something then you could try them :)

THEN, me and my friends attended a boring talk at the uni -.- Regret going sooo much ! But we managed to leave early though. I was so sleepy and tired, the sofa was so straight up.It's like car seats !





Guess who is in the same Uni .....





I actually bumped into her after me and my friend sneaked out from the hall :p

Hungry for FOOD


I'm trying to recall what happened the past week , but I can't seem to remember because I am hungrehhh... >.< It's the month of Ramadhan ! woot woot , there goes my 'diet' :p Okay okay I remember going swimming at my uni and I havent been in a pool since I was 15 haha but the pool at my uni was super shallow , can't even swim in it because the chlorine is a little too strong and it's salty ! -.- Me and my friend just walked around in the pool and chit chat until we got bored haha 


               After she left ,I just chilled alone for an hour to wait for my Mama. Then, I decided to record a hair tutorial when no one was around haha ! Watch it if you haven't - Chopstick Bun Updo Tutorial (click on the link) I used real chopsticks by the way haha someone was like "Chopsticks? " when I was in the elevator :p





                 Okay let me think what else did I do the whole week. I basically went to class, did nothing and come home. Oh my phone has been giving me alot of problems like lagging every single thing which annoys me alot. Im not so much of a patient person, I get annoyed really fast ! My lovely bubbly Amanda was sooo sweet to borrow me her old phone.

I baked Cinnamon rolls yesterday ! My very first success using yeast , I tried making once a few months ago but FAILED because the yeast was dead -.- 

                 Oh gosh let me tell you the process of using yeast , first you gotta let it sit for 10 minutes in WARM water , not cold not hot but warm water with some sugar. Sugar is like food for yeast to activate , weird huh ? then you mix with the other ingredients roll it into a ball ,cover it with a damp cloth and let it sit in a warm place for about an hour until it rise double its size ! 

It doubled the size ! :D

                    After the dough rise , you have to knead it for like 5 minutes, roll out flat , sprinkle cinnamon and sugar and roll it! Cut it , and place them in a tray lined with baking sheet. An let it sit for another 30 minutes ! 








AFTER THE LONG WAIT. Then you can finally bake it for 25 minutes. The whole process takes about 2 hours or more !





SORREHH if I made you hungry hahah ! Conclusion is the long wait was worth it because it tasted yummeeehhhh :D

First day of the week after Orientation was alright ! Got my subjects registered and didnt really do anything after that.

1. Practices of Management
2. English Language Awareness

                So first day of class was on the next day and guess what! me and Haziq got into the WRONG class because we followed the WRONG timetable ! We went into the class , told the lecturer we're new and she said "are you sure you'll be in this class ? I think you should check again, but now just have a sit." We were confused but we just sat in that class for 2 hours and copied the notes ! hahah I felt like I've learnt something new and it felt good though:D We did followed the correct timetable after that ! 




Oooohhh ! Got my name tag on Thursday !

Friday

My mama is always busy with her badminton and she couldn't pick me up from uni after class , so I had to stay at the uni the whole day ! I hung out at the library , explored each bookshelf and I found recipe books on the second floor of the library. It was like music to my earssss

While waiting for my friend to come and accompany me , I looked through the pictures of the yummy dummy food until my tummy started rumbling so badly!

Orientation week


I survived the whole week of orientation .Definitely a crazy crazy week ! The photographer took a few shots of me at the library and said it will be published on the MSU website, I can't wait for that ! :D On Thursday we had a homecoming Fiesta and we new students were told to join the 'Flash mob Aerobic' competition, which we only had a few hours to practise ! Most of us thought the homecoming fiesta would be on the Friday , so when I came to the uni on Thursday I almost had a mini heart attack when I saw thousands of people turned up on Thursday morning ! Crazy ! We obviously sucked hahah sooo embarrassed ! >.< 




During the orientation , we were all put in groups and I met 3 monkeys ! The whole week we stick to each other and had awesome time together ! Unfortunately non of us are taking the same course :( But it's okay , after spending a week together , I think we'll stick as a gang ;) The last picture is  a picture of the 4 of us as a group :D I do have other friends but I didn't get the chance to take pictures with them >.< oops
